Dylan Crews is Dominating

Dylan Crews, LSU's star outfielder projected to be Dylan Crews being the No. 1 overall selection in this year's draft. Crews has been a powerhouse for LSU over the years, but this year is having an insane breakout year. Crews is currently hitting .510, slugging .882, and has nine home runs, 35 RBIs, and less than 20 strikeouts. He is the only player in college baseball currently hitting over .500 this late in the season. Throughout his season Crews was on a 26-game hitting streak until this last week. Even with LSU going 1-1 against South Carolina and Crews only going 1 for 6 on the weekend, he has been on base in 31 straight games, which is currently active. Crews' brilliance cannot be dimmed by a 1-for-6 performance against South Carolina.

The LSU star is showing a sign of slowing down but is he slowing down at the right time to just get hot again right before the College World Series? Crews are still projected to be the number 1 draft pick going to the Pirates after having such a powerhouse year. With the help of Crews, will LSU be able to bring home a ring in the long run?
