Does Boston Sending Down Swayman Make sense?

With Tuukka Rask returning to Boston, the Bruins had to make a decision on who to keep and who to cut. The Bruins chose to send down Jeremy Swayman instead of Linus Ullmark, but statistically, does this choice make sense?

This year Swayman and Ullmark have each played 16 games and recorded 956:45 and 956:07 minutes on ice, respectively. Swayman has faced 440 shots on goal and allowed 36 goals, with a 2.25 goals against per game average and a save percentage of .918. Ullmark has faced 492 shots on goal and allowed 41 goals with an average of 2.57 goals against per game and a save percentage of .917.

Swayman has a better save percentage overall and has an average of less goals against per game, in the same amount of games. If it were solely based on stats, Swayman should have stayed and Ullmark should have gone.
